Is the verifier really free?
Yes — permanently, and with no account. Verification is license-independent by design so the party checking evidence never has to trust or pay the party that produced it.
How are paid tiers licensed?
With an offline, Ed25519-signed license file. It encodes your tier, seats, features, and expiry, and is verified locally by the CLI. There is no activation server and nothing phones home.
Why contact sales instead of a checkout?
Evidence tooling tends to touch security and procurement. We'd rather understand your setup and issue the right license than drop a card form in front of you.
What happens if a license expires?
The signed capabilities stop unlocking, but nothing you already captured is lost, and the free verifier keeps working on every bundle you ever produced.
Will there be self-serve checkout?
It's on the way for Pro and Team. For now, request access and we'll issue a signed license the same way — you just skip the card form.
